Well done to Year 2 for their wonderful sharing assembly. 

They shared their learning about 'Celebrations' with parents and the rest of the lower phase pupils. We learned about the story of Diwali and how it is celebrated today, the history of the gunpowder plot and how this is linked to the bonfire night celebrations on 5th November each year and they finished with some background on the establishment of the Notting Hill Carnival as an annual cultural celebration and a fabulous carnival dance. This was all delivered with such confidence and enjoyment that we all left with big smiles on our faces!
